A strong interest in the EU FarmBook

December 2nd 2021 at the annual meeting of the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS), NAK (The Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture) introduced the concept of the "EU FarmBook" to 115 participants from all over the world.

There was a strong interest in the structure of information collected on the knowledge repository platform and also in training materials. After the presentation NAK representative and EUREKA partner, Anikó Nagy, participated in a panel discussion together with the representative of FiBL Europe and of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Anikó Nagy reports from the meeting:

"The panel emphasized that knowledge sharing should not happen vertically anymore, therefore rural advisors nowadays are facilitators rather than “simply” advisors, and network connections play a huge role in gathering information".
