Learnings from the EUREKA project at the ESEE 2021 conference on “Innovative knowledge”

The European Seminar on Extension and Education (ESEE) is a group of educators and advisors who every second year hold a conference on topics related to agricultural extension and education. This year the conference was virtual and took place 21-23 June 2021. Pieter Spanoghe, who is Project coordinator of the Horizon 2020 EURAKNOS/EUREKA projects and professor at Ghent University, was invited to join a panel debate on innovative knowledge.

Reaching a high impact and long-term sustainability of multi-actor projects

On February 16th the EUREKA Knowledge Innovation Panel (KIP) was invited for a meeting to learn about the results and status of the EUREKA project. The main goals of the KIP meeting were to gather feedback from the members regarding how best to assess and achieve impact in a multi-actor project and to discuss the future and longer-term sustainability of EUREKA

Share your experience on impact assessment and evaluation in multi-actor projects!

If you are involved in agriculture or forestry, we would like to invite you to take part in this short survey (less than 15 minutes) for the EU Commission-funded project EUREKA. There have been many exciting agricultural and forestry projects across the EU since 2014 that have helped to produce lots of important and useful information, but we want to know how well this information is actually being shared and used – its impact.

Towards developing the EU FarmBook – Part two

The launch of the EU FarmBook pilot platform is approaching. The technical partners of the EUREKA consortium expect that the platform will be presented and ready as a pilot project in July-August 2021. There are some important final activities though that needs to be done prior to the launch.

Understanding the needs of end users for successful agricultural digital knowledge exchange

Essential to the design of the EU FarmBook knowledge platform that the EUREKA project is working on is to have a good understanding of the end-user information needs, preferred channels and challenges in order to help select the most useful knowledge (data) for end users and to verify the preferred communication and dissemination channels to be used to promote the EU FarmBook.
